160 watts of eerie silence.
Because I know I have been gone for a while

Okay, so I realize I have been gone forever after only posting 3 articles... sorry, sorry. But last week was a really challenging week for me.

So basically, the week before last, there was a bad storm in the middle of the night and during the storm, my dog Luke escaped and was gone for an entire week. I was not too worried but come last Sunday, I really started to fret cause he's my dog ya know. Dogs are called mans' best friends for a reason. Well, anyway, starting last Sunday, nothing was going right, just among school, marching band, and life in general. With school, I am having to struggle with this wierd rift between me and my friends that seems to be developing. Like, I know I am not the most popular person in school, and I can understand if other kids think I am wierd and do not hang out with me, but I have my own clique of friends that I hang out with (basically the marching band members that are actually serious about it) and its like they are distancing themselves away from me like they just do not wanna hang out with me much.

Really, it was truly apparent until monday morning, where I was taking my large keyboard and its stand into the bandroom, and I walk with 2 of my friends who were coming from the cars. I say whats up to them, but they did not notice. I am positive they knew I was there, I had a freaking 77key keyboard that is bigger than myself on my shoulder, but maybe they did not notice, well, we reach the band door, and I let them go first thinking one of them would hold the door open for me, but when the first person opened the door, he held it for the second person, who did not even hold the door for me and I nearly dropped the piano trying to grab the door with the stand itself, still, I got in, and did not bother toalkin' to my friends who I think really had no idea I was there.

And that really was one incident on Monday with them, later on through out the day, they acted like the friends we and I was like alright coo', it was an accident then, except there have been mor incidents like that throughout the week.

Friends aside, the rest of school was okay overall, I do not like my government teacher(s) at all because they are so disorganized and they are not doing a good job at teaching at all. Marching Band is still a wreck, but it is at least a cleaner wreck.

Tuesday, and still no sign on Luke. School is as boring as ever, though on a good note, chemistry is not as hard as I imagined it would be, otherwise, I got more homework which sucks, school still suck, friends still fail to notice me from time to time, and it keeps happening too, through the week, in the past, and so on. Marching was okay, but that is because we lacked so many of the shitty members, we managed to get something done with the few kids we had. Albiet the other kids suck like hell and need to quit. I really start getting depressed, mainly cause of Luke, but my friends are not helping. And school is more stress than I need. I also have work, but it is more relieving and a getaway from life than it is work.

Wednesday and interim reports come out. Wednesday morning was also like the lowest point of this entire week for me. I get my interim and I find an F on it. Not cool. Not cool at all. Well, after my first class where I spent most the period cursing life and stuff, I visit the teacher where I have the F (government btw) and ask her why is it an F. And here is where the week starts to turn around. She said she forgot to enter a test grade and changed the zero it was coming up as to like whatever grade I got and my government grade went from 69 F to an 89 B. Awesome. I was happier at least. Band classes go great cause we got to practice our arrangement of Polar Express which is BEAUTIFUL. Like seriously, my and the french horn player (who ironically is the dude who "forgot" to hold the door for me twice) are like near tears it is so awesome amazingness. Anywho, nothing of particular note until after school, my dad calls and says the dog pound has Luke and I was gone faster than a rocket. Lo and behold they have Luke. Dude, happiness, cannot describe. It costed 31 dollars to pull out the pound, but whatever, they fed him, gave him a bath, unflea'd him, and gave him a place to sleep, 31 dollars was well worth it.

So hooray, I got my dog back. I do not remember much else past that. We got more awesome music in Symphonic Band which convinced me this is going to be the awesomest Christmas Concert Prince George will ever have, marching band was okay, it could always be better, but we got through it. The game Friday, agaistn Meadowbrook was pretty chill. PG lost 34 to 10, but I saw the coolest play from Prince George ever. I also roundhoused kick the band show through a concrete wall of awesomeness I performed so well. On a sidenote I nearly passed out in the middle of one song because the did the entire section in one breath and actually played the 12 count note at ff with the crescendo and started to lose my vision, but I made it. On one last note for friday... payday!!!

Yesterday was completely wierd and did not fit the week at all. I woke up with a horrible headache and had to go straight to work. The headache got better so the 6 hours of work I got was nice. So afterwards, I take a couple very close friends of mine (ironically... not band members) and we chill at the local Music World. Then we left, played Super Smash Bros: Brawl and I picked up the headache again, and it was worse, but oh well. Brawl was some awesome fun considering how it ended.

And that is a wrap to my week. I will try to keep the blog updated, hopefully expect next arcticle on Wed. Until then...
